{6 Things That Are Making Me A Happy Girl Today}

I have been feeling quite happy today!  6 reasons I am a very happy girl right now!:

1.  This sweet and extremely high-maitenence Lily Pearl.  The last couple of days she HAS to be holding my hand, in my arms, or on my lap.  Today, instead of feeling crazy because I can't get anything done, I have been LOVING the fact that she is still so attached to me.  She is my last and I know I will truly miss this when she is older.  :)

2.  My awesome husband for being such a great dad.  He works all day and comes home and wants to spend time with his kids.  He has been teaching Derek to ride a bike without his training wheels and I love watching them.  He really is a wonderful dad and today I am feeling very blessed to have him.

3.  I am so happy when I am creating.  Right now, I am loving my 'hair decor' business.  I have also been making headbands to donate to a local womens shelter.  I love doing things for others.  It makes me so super happy!!! :)

4. Cooler weather!!!  YAY!  It has been so nice here.  We have been spending a lot of time outside enjoying it.  I love the fall!  I am so excited for Halloween and Thanksgiving!

5.  Dance has started and Kylie is so happy!  She tried out this summer and made Mini Company and Showteam.  She is also going to be doing another solo this season.  I am so proud of her!  Dance has been so wonderful for Ky.  She has awesome friends, who she is SO close to and it has been so good for her confidence.  I am so thankful for Lightbox!

6.  Jetts new 'monster jams'.  I found these adorable jammies at Marshalls.  I was so excited because they are so cuddly and soft.  There is nothing better than snuggling with a sweet little boy in darling jammies!  :)



{Two Little Soccer Players}

Soccer season has begun and I have two little boys who are thrilled!

Blake is my little soccer star!!!  He has always loved soccer.  He is always kicking a ball around the house and driving me crazy!  He is also extremely talented when it comes to this sport.  He went to a soccer camp in the summer and they had him playing with the 10 - 14 year olds.  :)  He was also named the best player out of his group.  Next year we will let him try out for competition soccer.

I am so proud of my Blake!

My Derek started his first year of soccer this season.  He LOVES it just like Blake.  He is already so good, he has been watching Blake alot!  I love watching his games and seeing him enjoy what he is doing.

I love encouraging my kids to do what they love and what they are good at.  There is nothing better than watching my children develop their talents.  I LOVE cheering them on and being their biggest fan!!!

{I ♥ America & My Grandpa Walt}

I was in my bed snuggling with my Ethan, who was 3, when my phone rang.  It was my sister, Jamie.  She was freaking out telling me that someone had crashed a plane into the World Trade Center.  I turned on my TV just in time to see the second plane hit.  I remember the feeling I got, that I can't even describe.  It was horrific.

I am so proud to be an American.  I am SO thankful for those who risk their life everyday for my freedom.

September 11th is also the birthday of one of the greatest men I will ever know, my Grandpa Walt.  He turns 97 years old today.

We celebrated at a really yummy restraunt yesterday.

We LOVE you Grandpa!!!
