{Babies & Trucks}

So, I feel like I am always posting about Lily P Punk Pants, but she is just so edible right now at this age.  I could seriously eat her up!  She is doing so many fun things and is learning so much so fast.

She LOVES all of her babies and is going through this phase where she has to have all of them with her ALL the time wherever she is.  It's kind-of driving me nutso!  I kid you not, these babies are in a pile on the floor in my bathroom when I am getting ready, on the kitchen floor when I am cooking, piled in the car when we go somewhere, and pretty much anywhere else little Lily P decides she wants them.

This is her wanting her photo taken with her babies and she is giving her prettiest smile.  Ha!

She is also a lover of trucks and cars and airplanes.  She will drive her brothers trucks around and around all day.  She is such a funny little girl!

{Encouragment}

Today has been a really rough day!  My kids were wild all morning and everyone was sad that Aunt Mandy had to leave.  I carried a screaming Jett and Lily P into Walmart because I was out of Tide and the laundry has gotten out of control.  Seriously, it has been crappy!

I tend to be pretty negative about a lot of things.  I get so overwhelmed and I tend to think the worst.  Like today, I had a horrible attitude about how things were going down at home.  I realized that I made a choice to handle things the way I did and it sucked.

"The tongue has the power of life and death" (Proverbs 18:21

I found this scripture and it is SO true.  The yelling at my kids and complaining today made everything so much worse.  My kids completely feed off of my emotions and my mood.  My making a choice to be a crabby mess led to my kids being upset and to our house not being a happy one this morning.

After a mom time-out and reading some scriptures about encouragement, I feel SO much better.

"Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification" (Romans 14:19)

{The Zoo}

Aunt Mandy has been staying with us this weekend and it has been SO much fun!  On Sunday, we went to the zoo.  We LOVE the zoo and go there a lot!  My kids fit right in with all of the wild animals.  :)
