I Love All My Babies!

I was looking through some old pictures while scrapbooking, and I came across these pictures of Ethan, Kylie and Blake. These are some of my favorite pictures ever taken of them. I loved the boys matching Gap shirts and Kylies denim dress and pink boots. This was Blakes 1 year picture and Kylies 2 year picture. I love how sweet and loving they all look in the one of all of them, I think that this was the time when they were the easiest. Having them 11 months apart (to the day) has been really hard, but when they were one and two it wasn't so bad. Now they fight most of the time and are constantly in competition with each other. Oh, how I miss the days when they were so little and got along.

Happy 4th of July!!! Today has been so fun! Kylie was on a float with her dance class. She looked so cute, and had such a great time. She had the Miss America wave down and everything! I was so proud that she was my beautiful, sweet girl. She was in the Kaysville parade, and it was a pretty good parade. The boys all had a really good time. They got so much candy and taffy, I don't even know what to do with it all. My grandpa Walt, came with us to the parade. I was so happy that he was able to come with us, the kids absolutely love him so much.
After the parade, we went to the Layton Park for all of the little festivities they have over there. It was a really good time. Tonight we will go to the fireworks. The kids are so pooped out, it should be interesting!

Jensen Nature Park

On Sunday evening, we went to Jensen Nature Park. It is such a pretty place. I was hoping to get some good photos of the kids, but they couldn't hold still. It was too much fun to run around. Derek really wasn't in to having his picture taken either. He just kept wanting to crawl into the water or eat the rocks.

Derek is 8 Months Old!!!

So, yesterday Derek turned 8 months old. I wanted to take some pictures because I am trying to have a little photo shoot with him each month. Well, it didn't go as well as I would have hoped. Derek is not so cooperative now that he can crawl. He first ripped the backdrop down, then he was trying to stand up to the couch. LuLu decided to join him and it was all down hill from there. Luckily, I like the more candid photos and Mr. Von De Boobers is darling in any photo. So, here are some of the few that turned out.
Let me just say, I am so very sad to see my little baby getting so much older. I wish he could stay this age forever. Time goes way too fast, it seems like I was just driving everyone crazy complaining about how I thought he was never going to come out of me. Now, here it is 8 months later and I have no idea where the time has gone. The same is true for my other kids, they are getting so big and independent. I am really trying to savor the time I have with them being little, because I know it will not last.
