{Annual Gingerbread House Cousin Party}

Every year, my sister and I get our cute little ones together and have a gingerbread house making party.  We divide into 2 teams and try to make the best gingerbread house.  Then we sing Christmas songs and just let the kids have fun!  This year was so fun!  I am SO thankful for my beautiful sister and my sweet nieces & nephews.

My Grandpa Walt, who is 97, helping Lily P put some candy on the house.  I am so grateful for everyday that we get to spend with him.  How blessed my children are to have him in their lives.  Oh, how I adore him!

{Christmas Fun}

My little ones did some fun little crafts at school for Christmas.

Derek made a fun frosting tree and a Rudolph.  He had a lot of fun with the glue and gave his reindeer a huge glue smile. :)

Ky made a gingerbread house at her school Christmas party.  Punk didn't take her eyes off of it.:)

Oh, my little Jett...  He is my little perfectionist.  I love it!  His tree was so neat and perfect.  He loved hanging his Rudolph on the doorknob.

{Christmas is Coming!!!}

Things have been SO crazy around here lately!!!  I haven't had a minute to think straight.  Adrians sister, Mandy came and stayed with us for a few days and I felt like I was on vacation the whole time, it was so much fun.  I have had to get caught up on tons of photo editing, christmas shopping, Kylies dance stuff, and doing a Sub for Santa family.  I am finally starting to get into the Christmas spirit!!!

All of my little ones have their own first Christmas ornament on the tree. They all have a photo and they open up and there is a little place I have written down what they were like on their first Christmas.  They grow up way too fast and every year I can't believe how old they are getting.

We have 10 stockings hanging on our fireplace!  I LOVE it!  My oh so talented sister and mom made all of our stockings.  They are my favorite thing at Chirstmas!

Jetts stocking has to be my favorite!  It is so funny that his has an elf on it because he is absolutely terrified of elves!  He said that Santa can bring presents but the elves can't come.  He is so funny!:)

Our Christmas countdown calender.  This is SO special to our family.  My mom made this for my sister and I when we were little.  She handmade every little ornament for the tree.  It will be so fun to pass this down to my children.

{Festival of Trees}

On Saturday, we went to Festival of Trees.  It was SO much fun!  It was really crowded but we all had a great time.  I love that we can go and look at all of the beautiful Christmas trees that people have decorated and donated.  I love going every year and donating to a great place like Primary Childrens Medical Center.  They took such wonderful care of my Ethan while he was there after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

I would love to decorate a donate a lovely tree!

Then Santa gave her a candy cane and all was well.  Maybe next year she will love him.:)

{So Random}

So, this post is so random.  :)  It has been a strange day here.  We had really awful wind storms all night and today.  I was called to pick up my kids from the Elementary school because the power was out, but when I got there, the power was on.  Most of the parents took their kids home anyway since the principal said it might close anyway.  Such a weird morning!!! 

So here is a little randomness for you all...

I have started occasionally curling Punks hair in sponge curlers.  It looks crazy cute, but the curls don't last for long.  Me, Ky, and Lily P have super straight hair that does not hold curl at all. :(

Adrian and I were making the Pumpkin Pies for Thanksgiving and when he cracked the eggs into the bowl, this is how they came out.  It had to be some sort of  sign of good luck. :)

My sweet, sweet Sweet Lou turned seven on Thanksgiving.   Oh, how I truly love this wonderful little Lou Lou.  She really is my best friend.  :)

{Thanksgiving - 2011}
